Terms of Service
These terms govern use of Yapdesk, including the hosted dashboard, live chat widget, WordPress plugin, tickets, billing, and optional AI features.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information.
Service Use
- You may use Yapdesk to provide live chat and message/ticket support on websites you own or manage.
- You may not use Yapdesk for spam, phishing, malware, harassment, illegal activity, or abusive automation.
- You are responsible for your website content, visitor disclosures, privacy practices, and compliance obligations.
Free and Paid Plans
Yapdesk offers a free plan with Yapdesk branding and optional paid plans. Paid plans may include branding removal, additional agents, visitor typing preview, and AI features. Plan features may change as the product evolves.
Billing
Payments, subscriptions, invoices, and payment methods are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Billing access is available from the Yapdesk dashboard.
AI Features
AI features are optional and may use website content, uploaded/provided context, and conversation messages to generate replies. Account owners are responsible for reviewing AI use and deciding when AI replies are appropriate.
Data and Privacy
Use of Yapdesk is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By connecting a website, you authorize Yapdesk to process chat, ticket, website, and account data needed to provide the service.
Availability
We work to keep Yapdesk reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yapdesk is provided without warranties of any kind, and Yapdesk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
